Curricula and teaching approach

Everest English School follows the curricula developed by the Federal Government of Nepal. Student-centers approach to teaching is emphasized since the past few years. Everest English School’s teaching provides students with opportunities to initiate learning independently. Teaching through play way method, group works, pair works, sharing, etc. are all parts of the school’s teaching methodology.

The school has small and comfortable classrooms which accommodate 24-36 students each. The preprimary and primary sections adjusts only 24 students while secondary sections host 32 and 36 students respectively.

Teachers in the school are competent, experienced and well-read. Most of them have several years of teaching experience and training. It has particularly oriented its pre-primary and primary school teachers to ‘play way method’ to teaching. ECEC is involved to regularly train these teachers in different phases. The school has a policy to train all its teachers in a regular basis so as to make teaching and learning pragmatic and suited.
