I am very proud to announce that EVEREST ENGLISH SCHOOL is celebrating its Silver Jubilee Anniversary this year. I am delighted to recall the very successful past 25 years of the school which is marked by hard-work, dedication and sincerity of our staff. We would not have been able to stand here to celebrate this day without the cooperation and support of our students, parents and well wishers. I would, therefore, like to grab this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all of them.

This year, our long cherished dream to update our communication system has come true; we have been able to launch our school website (http://www.everestschool.edu.np/). By launching the website, I anticipate to be accessible to all the parents, past and prospective students, and others who would like to be in touch with us.

Of late, there is a growing demand of practical and innovative education. I feel that these demands can only be fulfilled with the use of latest educational technology with an improved classroom teaching/learning situation. Developing our own curricula and evaluation system, implementing student-centered teaching/learning, placing emphasis on individual students’ talents which emulate established standards have been our latest dreams. Though now new, these would be revolutionary shifts from our traditional approach to giving education. We can only be instrumental in getting trust of beneficiaries if we are able to smoothly transit from old ways to the new ones shaping, molding and preparing students to face real-life problems, improve life style and fulfill dreams.

Not only do we believe that educational institutions are established with a noble intent to impart updated education and practical skills to the students, we also believe that parental dissatisfaction will be on rise if our education fails to comply with the real educational needs of the time. Our failure will turn out to be disastrous not only to us but also for the whole nation.     

Thus, I would like to assure our parents that we are well aware of the educational needs of present day and also the right course to achieve it. I will not hesitate to embrace the existing educational trends and use appropriate means and methods to strive for quality education. I hope that your trust will further encourage us to excel in the days ahead, and Everest English School will always remain to leave a mark in the education sector in Nepal.
